This is Mason Potter’s site. CloutSites LLC is the company layer for client work. This page is how the website itself handles information — not a contract for paid work.

Who to write

Questions about this site or this policy: masonpotter1@gmail.com.

What this covers

  • People browsing the public pages
  • People who send a note through the contact form
  • People who email Mason directly

Paid client work has its own contract. This page does not replace that.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we store the name, email, company, reason, and message you send, so Mason can read it and reply. A hidden field is there only to catch bots; real visitors can ignore it.

If you email us, we keep that thread so we can answer.

Hosting and analytics (Vercel) see ordinary request data — pages viewed, referrers, performance, and technical logs such as IP address and browser. That is for running the site, not for building an advertising profile. There are no third-party ad trackers here.

How it is used

  • Reply to hiring notes, project inquiries, and other messages
  • Keep the site up, secure, and understandable
  • See aggregate traffic so broken pages get fixed
  • Meet a legal duty if one appears

How long it stays

Contact-form and email correspondence is kept while the conversation is active, then as ordinary business records, then deleted or archived unless the law says to keep it. Analytics follow the hosting provider’s limits.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the services that host the site, store the inbox, or send email; when the law requires it; or when you ask us to connect a tool you control as part of a project.

Client work

If you hire CloutSites, access to your systems and customer data is scoped in the project, not by this page. Least privilege. No copies of production data without a reason.

Your choices

  • You can read the site without sending a form or an email
  • You can ask what we hold from a site contact, and ask for a correction or deletion when that is reasonable

Children

This site is for adults looking at work and business. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top will change.

Plain language, not legal advice. If you need a DPA or a vendor questionnaire for a real project, say so on Contact.
